Great campground. Nice access to beach. We were in off season & only 35$ per night. Rest room buildings had individual single bathrooms and showers. (Handicap options and parking, baby changing table as well) All very clean. camp store offered all the basics plus wood, ice and snack bar with food to go, as well as beer/wine and you could sit in their lovely community space that had a fire pit/ chairs overlooking the ocean. Friendly folks at the store too. Showers are operated by coins you purchase at a kiosk near the store. Very reasonable prices. Hot water/ great pressure. Nearby shopping center- less than a mile into Carlsbad has a grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants and bank. Great sunset watching. Lots of folks (including me) were taking the opportunity of the nice flat paved drive through the campground to walk or run. Oh, dogs are allowed in the campground but not on the beach. I would stay here again and also pay full price.

We live in Encinitas and love going here for quick getaways. Awesome be camp on the cliffs at the ocean.
