With permission from the harbor master to camp here you can for $50 a night and it's beautiful. Quiet during the week and bustling with fishermen launching boats and kayaks on the weekend! We were denied access to the KOA (which we had reservations for) because we have a converted cargo trailer and they "won't allow any conversations" turns out this place is far more beautiful. Plublic flush toilets, no hook ups or any other services. *** they have a no-compete clause with the KOA. So if you want to ask permission to stay here you need to tell them the KOA is either full or they won't take your conversion van/trailer The harbor master is located at the main harbor in town and they provided us with laminated permits for the trailer so we could unhook and leave it while adventuring around in our truck. Really worked out for us.
