My 2nd time parking here during the day they are anal about the 4hr time limit but over night they leave you alone. A nice view of the ocean and just walk down the stairs to the beach

New overnight restrictions over 84in tall, or 84in wide, or 25ft long no parking from 2am-6am anywhere in Oceanside, it says it on some blocks, but not others, but they can enforce it anywhere. That being said, they don’t seem to mind if you park on the street if you’re more than a mile from the beach, but just know that the new rule that went into effect early 2022 prohibits “oversized vehicles” from 2-6am. This town has changed for the worse. They’re more worried about money now. If you try to talk to them about the changes in street parking they boast about how much better the streets are with less people living on them. They target the houseless with their newest street rules. Ok rant over. I use to live here before I became full time van living and it’s just sad to see.

Some good spots nearby. This street specifically is for vehicles under 7 feet. We found a spot a few streets up.
