Loved our stay out here! Beautiful hiking trails. 5 paved/gravel campgrounds with most having a pavilion, picnic table, fire ring. Arrived on a Saturday and got the last open spot. Stayed for 2 days as we needed to get cell service and the road in is very long. About 20 miles with no service I’d say. One pit toilet at the top of the hill.

Large driveways on some spots

This fantastically free well maintained campground was worth the drive out. We arrived on a Thursday and no one was there - but by Saturday night there were vans camped out by the bathrooms because all the sites were gone (presuming the sweet water site down the road was also full) but even with multiple people rolling through the spaces are very spread apart and private. By Monday morning they were cleared out again with tons of availablity. There were fire pits but we wouldn’t have used them as there was so much dry grass around. Peaceful, beautiful and decent trails
