Small dirt pull off next to a river. Doesn’t get any better than this! Plenty of room for a handful of vans. Easy to pass by from the main road so approach slowly. Keep it clean! Pack it in, pack it out. Truckee is very nice to Vanlife, let’s keep it that way.

Okay spot, but there’s a lot of vehicular traffic in close proximity, which makes for a noisy experience. It quiets down for a bit in the middle of the night but then picks up again around 5am. At least one car laid on their horn going by and the trucks leaving the excavating company early in the morning were, at times, obnoxiously loud. I’m confident there are quieter alternatives in the area.
