Parking Lot
from last cross street in Crested Butte take Kebler Pass ( county Rd 12) about 3.4 miles. you will see sharp right dirt road that takes you 100 yards up to flat space where these a few fire pits and parking spots. County road department stores dirt etc... and usually see a few more rigs parked overnight. There iis plenty of free camping in the Crested Butte area but this is the closest and easiest i have found over the years. No road noise!

Closest free legal parking I have found to CB over the years. County uses it to store dirt so not the prettiest parking but beautiful Mountain View’s! Usually a few others parked here. Ten minutes to downtown Crusty!
Overnight Parking
Now it’s a gated community. Gate closed.
Definitely can not park here. Town has signs everywhere about no overnight parking.
