Didn’t stay here (but would!), drove through and hiked the petroglyphs. Looks like a great little campground. Shaded picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets. At least 10+ sites with decent spacing and privacy between each. Would be a perfect stop off highway 50.
Nice spot. I was here over Memorial weekend and there were 4 others. I stayed the rest of the week and there were maybe 2 others each night. Seems to be more of a pit stop for weary travelers and the occasional tourist. T-mobile service was mostly roaming around the camp but had good service in other areas.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall very quiet a few campers came through but I would say 4 other people stayed MAX. I’d say there is probably 15 campsites as well as a few day picnic sites you could pull into for the night. Pit toilets and no running water. Lots of Mormon Crickets and late in the night the rest of Nevadas nocturnal friends come out.
