Only government staff. Not even daytime parking allowed

Tried parking there on 01/31/21. Both the Tourists Information and Visitor Center were blocked off with ‘road closed’ signs and a cop car behind it. My guess is that it was because of the rioters threats. Ended up parking on the street in the tourist area. It’s free parking after 6P. Starting at 6A the meters turn on and there’s a 2 hour limit. So you would have to be out of there by 8A.
