Newly built (2019) campground. Large sites with clean facilities. Free BLM camping. Only about 10 sites.
Long road put to the campground. Very clean and nice. Not a ton of sites but I was the only one there.
This place was pretty awesome. My first alone trip w/my puppy. I wanted a place with a restroom, cell phone signal, close to the city yet away from the highways and streets. This fit my request. Lots of 4x4 trails. I can imagine the wknd is busy and loud! I was there on a Tuesday & Wednesday only to sleep and a morning hike. It was perfect and clean. Each site has a covered picnic table and fire pit with ample parking. Very clean.

This place is great. Rerouted to here from our original plan to stay near Ship Rock, but as we didn’t want to disrespect on Native American land found this place. Arrived at 7pm on a Friday in May to a few open sites still. Some, but not lots of OHV noise. Plenty of BLM land around in case it’s full. Worth the bit of extra driving for a free campground like this.
Great clean sites with covered picnic tables and pit toilets. Couple seedy characters around and strong scent of coyote pee and heard lots of coyotes at night so pay attention to your animals. Other than that this is a great spot! 2WD is fine. Looks like a sick spot for dirt biking also
