We stopped here along our route to Washington to have lunch. Despite what it says online about this being a campground, there is nowhere to actually camp. The park closes at dusk, and opens back up at dawn. The only shelter that is “available” — that is listed as a campground online — is actually a picnic area to reserve. Even though you can’t camp here, it’s a nice place to stop, stretch your legs and take in the views of the Columbia river!
