After driving to Third Beach and seeing a patrol car I was a bit worried about overnight boon docking around here. Luckily I was able to read the prior review which gave me the assurance parking at Second Beach would be ok. Was safe and quite. Well not exactly. Around 4am some party animal though we were some empty cargo vans and parked right next to us and started blasting gangsta rap. Shined my maglight from my little side window into his truck and asked nicely to please quiet down. Dude took off like a bat out of hell.. Port-a-jons and showers. Dogs welcome too

Great overnight parking lot with access to beautiful white sand beach. This place is truly a gem! There ar eourdoor water spouts to rinse your feet from the sand and water fountains to fill your water bottles outside the main building. We arrived around 6pm so the bathrooms were locked already but they are port-a-potties that are accessible throughout the night. They lock the gate to the parking lot at 9pm but it was not problem to just park here. Felt very safe and secluded. High recommend!

Quiet and convenient. So pleasant to wake up to crashing waves. There was one other car/pop-up there overnight. I didn’t see any port-a-potties at this lot (too early in the season?), but there are some at the other parking lots at the beach.
