This turned out to be a great spot. I wish every state had great locations to disperse camp at no cost. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because of the trash left by people who use the area. I know that’s not Rhode Island‘s fault, in fact Rhode Island puts the “RI” in “Doing it RIght.”

Nice spot! I stayed one night while traveling through. Did not have any issues. I did not see anything that said camping was allowed, but I also did not see anything that said, camping was not allowed. So go at your own risk!Close-ish to water. Trails nearby. Pavilion nearby.

Love this place! So glad to find a quiet, FREE place for dispersed camping. This one has no amenities - only a short access road with several wide spots to park. We had it all to ourselves on a Friday night. There is a walking trail by a beautiful lake and more trails across the road just a few hundred yards south. If we come back this way we will definitely stay here again.

Awesome spot. Very quiet and we felt very safe. Not very leveled but we had a great and long night of sleep. Would definitely recommend!
