Why post if not overnight parking(?)

Boat ramp kind of parking with historic cottage, gazebo and bathrooms. Hung out here to work during the day, and catch the sunset with the locals. Sign that says no overnight camping, and another that says any vehicle (e.g. truck/boat trailer) left for more than 24 hours will be towed.
