I use this as a nightly stop on road trips from Dallas -Denver. Great free campsite.

Stunning views but very windy! There's 5 spots on the shoulder of the road that overlook the lake. Each campsite has a picnic table with shade and a fire ring with plenty of garbage cans through out the site. The bathrooms were closed for the winter (Nov - Apr), but the fresh water spout was working. Lovely to have a free dump station onsite too.
