Arguable the best free campsite in Utah and the Colorado Plateau. Muley Point is perched high atop Cesar Mesa overlooking the San Juan Canyon, The Goosenecks, and Monument Valley. It’s a veritable playground and massive sandstone formations and yes, even after all of the attention, solitude, particularly if you skip Labor and Memorial Day weekends. The road up the Moki Dugway is iconic. Be careful after a rain as the classic red dirt on the drive in and turn to deep mud.
