Nice place for walks and runs

Large campground next to the beach. All the spots are fairly private as there are dense low trees in the area. Facilities are clean but a bit dated. Showers are hot and private rooms with a good place to put your shower items and towel. Power and water at the site along with fire ring, picnic table and internet fast enough to support a day of zoom calls. It’s only a quick walk over the dunes to get to the beach with epic views of the bridge and sunset. We also took a bike ride on some trails in the area that are good for riding or walking. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the feeling of privacy with very spacious camp sites. Wasn’t a fan of being surrounded by the swampy water, but I quickly forgot about it once I walked the very short walk down to the beach. I highly recommend staying here! I’m already looking forward to returning.

Great sites, clean bathrooms, deff one of the best camp ground I’ve been too, phone service was great, streamed some TV and Netflix on my phone at night with no issues at all. Sometimes there’s military training action going on into the night but stuff like that can be cool from time to time.
