This is a small pull off that will fit 2 vans (end to end) since it's a bit over grown. This is also as far as I was able to comfortablly drive my extended length Transit. There are several large dips in the road that we nearly got stuck in prior to this. The road conditions get pretty bad once you pass the two switchbacks at the Yellow Aster Butte Trailhead. 4WD isn't required but high clearance is highly suggested if you have a longer wheelbase vehicle.
