Nice little campground a little bit off of US highway 101. There are 5 sites available, all tent camping. Got here on a Thursday evening and the one secluded spot, #5, was taken so I took site #1 to be close to the parking lot and bathroom. Others joined the campground on Friday and Saturday to fill it up in early August 2022. The "lake" is more like a pond but people were catching fish out of it. Quite a few people came just to fish for a few hours and left before evening. It was nice and cool with fog on most mornings, called the local county FD and they said it was OK to burn a fire in the fire ring. Our site was relatively clean but another one was littered a bit, bathroom was not clean but I cleaned the toilet seat with baby wipes to ease my mind. Decent Verizon 4G LTE signal. Washington Discover Pass required but is free with the pass, just arrived to the state so I bought the annual pass anyway. I got here using the C-Line road in my heavily loaded minivan with no problems, slightly bumpy gravel road. The C-Line road is the way to get here according to the instructions on the state website. I talked to someone who came up C-1000 and he said that it is fairly rough and a 4x4 is recommended. Would definitely come back.
Had a fabulous stay here July 2021. Discovery pass is needed, but I don’t know how enforced it is. Beautiful big sites with fire rings (when allowed) and picnic tables. Cute lakes with great fishing. You can camp at the other lake too!
