Quiet, state-run campground right on the water. We paid $32 for a non-hookup site, I believe it was around $40 for full hookup. We felt the slaty breeze from our campsite, and the short walk to the water had up going several times a day. Bathhouses and showers are in good condition, although hot water is turned off from 10pm to 6am due to “vandalism”. All in all, great low-key waterside spot that we’ll consider a go-to if we can’t find any decent free camping in the area.
Really nice campsite! Bring quarters for the showers. It has cabins for rent as well. There’s a beach as part of the park just a short drive away.
Love it here - clean, quiet, good restrooms, awesome views! Have stayed here several times and people are always friendly.
Great park with beach access. Spacious campsites. The park is nice and clean and very quiet. Showers require quarters.
Had a great weekend here! It can be a bit crowded compared to other state parks, but the views are great. We saw the northern lights here!
