This spot is elevated slightly from the other creek spots along this road, but maybe only a 20foot drop down to the creek. There’s a big field that looks like it probably fills with beautiful flowers, but they had all turned brown by the time we were there. Put toilet available in the parking lot and there’s several fire pit areas across a small wire fence that are nestled under the trees along the creek. I met a fly fisher who said it’s one of his favorite spots but the water is so clear it’s hard to catch fish because they see me. Zero cell service for att but not far off the highway. So much wildlife too: turkeys, deer, & birds, plus cows if you ride your bike up to Ranch A. Looks like a popular spot for tubing because there was quite a bit of trash we picked up near the fire pits.
