Swimming and fishing at the old dam. I accessed this area from the Welsh Rd exit camping area just east of Ashfork. From the highway, go north past the camping field area and you will find the old abandoned portion of Hwy66, head west. It gets rough in spots for low clearance rigs and there are small camp spots near the dam. Can launch small boat there.
