Spent one night in this campground. Yes, there’s a $12 fee. The road getting here is pretty rough, but not dangerous. Probably best to have a high clearance vehicle. Gorgeous views at the top. It gets very windy up there at night. Campground was empty in mid-December. You do not need a reservation.
