Really a gem of a spot. Navajo National Monument is beautiful and a good place to visit. This campground made it even better. There is about 30 sites and plenty were still available in late April. It was quiet and the sites were spread out. It does say that rigs over 28ft are not allowed. There are bathrooms and dishwashing sinks. No showers. I had two bars with Verizon but it was a little spotty. Really an awesome spot!
Seems like it would be amazing, unfortunately at the moment it’s closed. But I did have a chance to scout around and it seems like an amazing spot.
Beautiful area. Sunset View is the free campground. I only stayed one night as I'm not much for rv generators and dogs roaming freely, barking all the time. Other than that it was nice.
OPEN AGAIN! Such a sweet find. It's a beautiful area and provides free campgrounds one that requires a permit and this one is first come first serve! It doesn not have any TMobile service at all.
