I found there was limited Cel service to the right better service if you stay to the left.

Gravel pit, lots of dispersed camping. A big barrel drum in the middle of it all

Really easy to access from the main road, beautiful views. A little busy but I did not try to see if I could go further down the road. Fine for one night, the only thing is you can hear cars.
