Dispersed camping on the beach. Great surf spot. Busy during the day when there’s a swell.

HUGE beach! Not much here and really no one around in the summer. We’ve heard it’s much different in the winter
I know it’s a favorite for a lot of folks but what’s a beach you can’t swim? Not my idea of a nice boondocking spot. Too many rigs and human waste all over in the brush. Big under tow with the surf and rocks at the beach break make swimming ill advised. Many better spots in the area if you want to actually get in the water. Surfing is good but not swimming or even getting wet. It’s a nice wide open beach to walk with many soft spots and many stuck in the sand daily.
Very nice long beach. Lots of surfers. I'm sure this gets packed in the winter and have heard issues with folks not cleaning up waste (human dog or otherwise). Be responsible, enjoy nature!
Just talking to some locals, on a full moon with high tides, this whole area can flood making the sand 'mud soup' and tons of people get stuck. Be aware!
