Large dusty pulloff on forest road. Great view of ocean. There’s a ton of more private dispersed camping as you go higher on the trail but it also gets warmer as you ascend on hot days. It can be 70 on Highway 1 and 85 to 90 at the top of the ridge. No 4WD needed but it’s a rough road.
