6 separate trails lead from RV lots down to the beaches. RV lots have picnic tables and fire rings. I-5 can be loud if you’re in a tent and camped where there’s no berm or trees between your site and the freeway.

Great place to pull in for the day/night. The spots are very close to one another, so just keep that in mind. You can hear the 5, but you can see the ocean! Fire pits at campsites and bathrooms/showers. Would definitely stay here again.

I’ve utilized this state campground on several occasions. Pros: The overnight spots are large, many ocean view, safe, dog friendly, ok surf, with numerous long walking trails that lead down to the beach, plus fire pits, tables, many bathrooms & beach showers. Cons: expensive (47.99 for 1 night), very crowded & hard to book during summer weekends, weekdays are best, freeway noise from Interstate 5) You can also day park here in smaller spots till sunset for a day fee or if you have a Ca state park day pass.

I’ve utilized this spot on several occasions. Pros: Beautiful views, large spots many with ocean views, surf when it’s good, long walking trails that lead down the bluffs to the beach, very dog friendly, safe, clean, many bathrooms, beach showers. Nice family vacation vibe with fire pits & tables. Fun place to stay a few days. Cons: expensive (47.99 a night), crowded during summer weekends, hard to book, noise from I-5. May not be worth the $ if you’re just passing through.
