Traffic noise from distant highway but worth it. Level campsites, fire rings, picnic tables, potable water and clean pit toilets. In Cleveland NF so free if you have appropriate adventure pass. Full ATT 5Ge. Right on PCT so hikers will be walking by during season.

We absolutely LOVE this campground! It might be one of my all-time faves. Sure, you get a little road noise — but it’s not bad. The campsites are large and shaded by big, beautiful oak trees. It’s quiet and has the best cell phone speeds we’ve seen in a long time. Also, these are the cleanest camp bathrooms ever! This is also a stop along the PCT, so you’ll see lots of thru-hikers coming through. Don’t be afraid to do some trail magic! One night we fed some hikers hot dogs, beer and s’mores. It was awesome to make others smile!
