On the south side of of the bridge is a pullout that is off the road. Lovely spot. Wild fennel/ anise all around. Easy beach access. Absolutely brutal road from Ferndale to Petrolia, Honeydew and the Humboldt redwood state park but totally worth it :-) Zero cell service, be prepared and totally independent and pick up your TP!!!
