This is a beautiful shaded campground, with spread out spots. Great for escaping Bishop's heat. It is free, with the suggested donation of $10. There are a couple of toilets here. It's a good spot if you plan on going to the Bristlecone forrest or to acclimate before hiking White Mounatin Peak.
