GORGEOUS view of Lake Sonoma. Gorgeous drive along Skagg Spring Road. We took the trail off the right side (East side) of the parking lot, down to the lake and it was lovely. Though you have to watch out for poison oak on the early sections of the trail. And ultimately the BEST view, hands down is right from the overlook you started from.

Little parking lot off a winding road that passes through grape vineyards. Gorgeous views! We had no issues parking here overnight. There are no signs that say you can’t park there and no one bothered us. Great find!

Very secluded parking lot overlooking Lake Sonoma. Had a couple of picnic tables and a porta potty on site but didn't go in. Foggy and rainy all day so didn't get to enjoy the surroundings much, but an excellent spot to camp just outside of Geyserville and not too far away from Healdsburg. In the morning, while standing outside of van, park ranger drove into lot, waved, then left. No issues or hassles at all. Cell reception very nominal.

Great little 5 spot parking lot at a trailhead with a portojohn. A little far off the beaten path, which means it’s nice and quiet. Great Lake view to wake up to! Van/car only… no large vehicles will fit.

beautiful spot, a few cars came and went up until about 8 pm. a guy played showed up & guitar for a while on the bench which was nice. no complaints except that the moon was too bright lol

Cool spot with great views at a trailhead that has a short but steep trail down to the lake or a long trail around the lake. There is a porta potty and a garbage can.
