Large, flat, dirt parking area for some nearby running/biking trails. No facilities or amenities. Quiet night overlooking the lights of Boulder and the surrounding suburbs. Parking lot emptied just before dark and Rt 128 quieted down not long after that, with just a few cars passing through overnight. Pretty exposed up on the mesa, so would not recommend during high winds or severe weather, but otherwise a great spot!

Nice views of the flatirons. Not very busy overnight, but busy in the weekends with mnt bikers and people walking the trails nearby

Great spot to wake up to. A little traffic noise through the night. Close to a few gas stations. Watch out for the rut on the north side lot if coming in at night, better to come in on the second entrance about a 100 yds down.

Stayed here last night, easy peasy. Great spot for the Boulder area. Near a road that quiets down at night and isn’t crazy traffic-y during the day. May not be 100% legal to park here since it’s on Boulder Open Space land (which requires paid permits at trailheads) but maybe since this isn’t an official trailhead we’re okay? Stayed for ~18 hours without issue. Shared the spot with one rooftop tent overnight. Got very windy for a few hours in the afternoon. Great views. Popular sunset spot.

Stayed here overnight with no issues. A bit of traffic noise and other cars parked at night. Seems to be a very windy spot but otherwise beautiful.

We haven’t parked here, but if you do use this spot, be aware that iOverlander claims that a sheriff will occasionally show up and give you the knock.

Good Spot lots of people 7-10 vehicles tonight.
