Stayed at both the Hammock and Kowechobe campgrounds. Pit toilet is serviced 1x/wk. You need to register for a free permit on their website. It’s super easy and updates immediately if there are cancellations. Hammock area is fully shaded and can get muddy if it’s raining a lot. The Kowechobe area is in full sun, and some spots have shade trees. I was able to put out my portable solar panels at both campgrounds.

stayed @ hammock camp 9 days in November 2020 , you do need to register on the website it is free & nice ,there is an ADA site ,kinda packed on weekends & bring bug spray mosquitoes swarm you !
