Parking lot. Several others stayed in 2-3 nights and during the day. Met a lot of people. On the ocean, volley ball courts and a huge nice dog park. Bathrooms near and a work out station. Tons of nearby restaurants and bars. Also check out the St. Pete pier.

A bit concerned at first since it is really busy and does have gates but it was great! Beautiful park. A bit noisy til 1130 or so with roller bladers but felt safe and didn’t get a knock! If you want to avoid getting Locked in the gate just park in the middle section of the parking lot.

Stayed here one night in January this year with no problem but now I see a sign at the entrance of the parking lot for the aquatic center that says “camping prohibited.” There are several vans in each of the other lots so I’m hoping it’s still okay in those lots. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place. I come here often just to hang out for the day.
