High clearance needed to get here. This was as far as we dared go with our Promaster. Beautiful view, freeway noise dies down at night. Close to caverns.

Convenient, close to the park location! Roads are a bit bumpy, but luckily you won’t have to drive too far down to get to pull off areas.

“Nothings perfect”, my partner says, however i have not anything bad to say… this spot is high up a county road and open to a large valley. There was a beautiful night sky and a gorgeous sunrise. If i *had* to gripe, i would say its so lush with a large variety of desert life, its difficult to wander around after a few adult beverages. Flat camping spots are clearly marked and have fire rings of stones. They are spaced well apart from one another and the upper spots may require high clearance vehicles.

Little bumpy so be prepared for that but it’s well worth the view. Some pull offs have rock fire pits and are mostly level but not perfect. What else could you ask for though…. 10/10
