We were originally at the Walmart in Gallup but it was so busy we ended up finding this Walmart. It was much less busy and very quiet. Walmart staffed said we were allowed to stay overnight. No grass for pets but there are some rocks on the north side of the building.

Overnight parking

Smaller parking lot. Very well lit. Few Rv’s and vans parked to the left side when pulling in so we parked in the same area. Pretty quiet. Store is newer. Bathrooms were very clean. Located in front of store and to the left in produce section. (I note this because that’s an unusual spot for a Walmart bathroom) staff very nice. We made a purchase. Please make a purchase at Walmarts- it helps the vanlife community be able to have options like this to stay in.
