Amazing location with the beautiful Organ Mountains s backdrop, trails, and a national monument a few miles from the site (we biked there) The road is not too bad for the first few sites of the loop (where we stayed) but it does gets rougher. We did see normal cars and 2wd vans make it in with no problem.

The views are incredible. But there are no facilities, come prepared to manage waste appropriately. The road is tough but we saw several RVs and 2-wheel drives go through it. We opted for one site along the end of the road for easiest access with our long bed pickup and tow trailer. Some spots are leveled but ours wasn’t so we had to use levelers. Been able to work from here with a TMobile hotspot and signal booster. Only 20 min from Cruces!
