Moose River Plains is a 64,000 acre wild forest managed by the DEC. There are over 140 free campsites that follow along the waters edge. Most of the complex can be accessed in large RV’s and small cars. There are some areas where 4x4 is recommended. For more info check out the DEC page for Moose River Plains
