This is a quiet parking lot to the lock 39 trailhead. No signs saying I can’t park over night. I stood 2 nights. I drove in very late the first night and just parked and went to bed. Parked here for an evening and hung out playing frisbee until the next afternoon. We parked in the grass area all the way towards the back. Pretty quiet barely anyone came through there. There’s pit toilets and seems like maybe some bicycle trails nearby.
Quiet, fairly level parking lot. We were the only ones overnight (low temp of 21F overnight). No trains, little bit of highway noise. 8am lot had several cars in it, pretty full by 9am. Would stay here again if we were traveling through.
