Quiet park with a river view
Sign says no overnight camping. Busy area, parking lot got full quick after work hrs. People everywhere. It didn't feel right to stay. Very popular location it seem
Really quiet park along the water. It is during the week so that may make a difference. Bathroom was still unlocked when I got here after 11pm last night. By the bathroom that says no camping and dogs must be on a leash
There was construction going on when we stayed. It was safe, but not pleasant. There was a lot of vehicle traffic and loud music from cars. Also, not the most pleasant smell either. Only stayed one night. Stayed June 13, 2022.
Too good to be true?? A quiet, safe place by the river with a river walk to stretch your legs after a long days drive. we came in after dark and left early. There is a pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms that were at least open until 8pm. If you park on the river side, beware of low hanging branches at some spots. There is ongoing construction here so availability may change within the next year. For the longer rigs, there is a big turn around on the left side if you accidentally go past the “no outlet” sign. Our sprinter and 14’ trailer had no issues.
Safe, quiet, free, beautiful. Nice place to stretch to yours and cool places within walking distance to checkout. Had a good night’s rest, very comfortable.
Excellent quiet little park by the river. Cooler than city parking. Nice view.
Was skeptical of this place as it sounded too good to be true, but actually pretty accurate reviews! Quiet parallel parking down by the river with bathrooms that were open as late as midnight. Beautiful well kept park, grass, picnic tables, and playground, dog potty bag stations, recycling, and trash cans. Lots of emergency stations as well. There was construction going on across the street but didn’t start until around 8am. This was a weekday as well.
Spoke to a cop , and asked him if its ok to overnight, so far he said he doesn't care , but things might change since there is ndw construction going on and the signs are not up yet , but we slept great .
