Great campground in a scenic setting with modern Visitor Center and facilities. Getting up and down the cobble and dirt road to some of the more remote campsites on the mountainside was a little challenging for our 2WD Ford Transit camper van but we didn’t get stuck. High clearance is necessary.

Beautiful spot with a few different camping options in loops as you climb up the mountain. Great hiking trails and pavilion at the top with wonderful view. Spots have shade and picnic tables. Restrooms in walking distance. Make reservations online on Reserve America.
