Great little camping spot on the reservoir. Lost of spots and it’s all free. There are a few restrooms here and there, very rugged and typical gross camp outhouses, but they work. I stayed in late April. It wasn’t too crowded and I was able to get a spot away from others. It was beautiful but windy as hell. It’d be a great place to stop if you have a canoe or kayak! Easy access to the lake and it looked super fun to explore. No cell service. If you go into Blanding, check out Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum - it’s awesome.
It can be crowded, tons of bugs, no to limited cell coverage (with Verizon) and can sometimes be really trashed. On the plus side it has a trash can and portable toilets near the boat ramp.
