Arrived on a Thursday evening and stayed for 1 night. It’s $14/night or $7 senior/access pass fee. I had the access pass but no one at the stand to confirm so I paid full price. So many places to park along the river or off the river. Looks like over 150 campers could fit here. Only had around 30 for the night I stayed. A few small fire rings throughout the land and SEVERAL vault toilets, which were clean. I think I counted 20? Good AT&T service and beautiful sunsets. About 20 minutes from horseshoe bend or 10 minutes from Page, AZ to stock up on groceries and gas. What a nice find!
Awesome beach camping at Lake Powell. Close to tons of hikes and activities. Free outdoor showers there perfect. Be careful about where you drive on the beach - we watched numerous vehicles get stuck in the sand.
Great beach camping on Lake Powell. $14 to camp overnight. The sand roads might require 4x4 or at minimum all terrain tires, but there are some gravel spots at the top parking lot for big rigs. Showers, water, dumpsters and toilets. This spot can get busy during prime vacation times, so there’s a bit of careless trash about the place. It can get super windy so make sure to tie down your tents and outdoor gear.
Great spot! We got in late Thursday night and left Friday morning, but I could see how this place could get super busy on weekends. No dedicated spots, so you’ll always find somewhere. Great views!
Beautiful spot right on the beach. You have to pay as you drive up but then it’s kind of a free for all and you can camp anywhere on the beach. Be careful of soft sand so you don’t get stuck. They do have a gravel path marked with orange cones which is safe for any vehicle to drive on. If so need 4x4 if you plan on getting very far off the gravel though.
Nice little spot to camp. Free to enter with Beautiful America Pass, otherwise $30 for 7 days. Camping is $14 a night. Lots of space to spread out but water views are prime real estate, especially when busy. I arrived on a Friday afternoon over Easter Weekend and most spots with a water view were taken and a bit too crowded together for my taste. I'll definitely come back here in the fall when I'm sure it's less crowded.
Right in the beach of Lake Powell at Lone Rock. Got in and out easily with 2WD Sprinter. Wouldn't go farther than the top ridge, sand gets deep, watched a truck get stuck going up the slope. Service was great, vault toilets everywhere. Cheap for a night or free for the day with a Parks Pass. Swimming was wonderful
