They must have changed the rules in the last month because they had many signs stating no overnight Beach camping and overnight camping illegal. :( not as easy to park in this area as we had hoped. This area does have a lot of paid rv camps up pacific avenue and off the 101alt if you can afford $30/night & up.

As long as your on the sand on the beach and not the pavement. Cops don't care if you park and sleep
